UB – Dr. Antoni Esteve i Subirana Chair for Research in Pharmacology<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n

Antoni Esteve i Subirana Ci\u00e8ncia carries the mission of promoting research in pharmacology<\/strong> in memory of Dr. Antoni Esteve i Subirana, whose scientific contributions\u2014through research, debate, and publications\u2014helped advance modern therapeutics.<\/p>\n

This mission aligns with the strategic vision and research trajectory of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Barcelona (UB), a key reference in pharmacology and pharmaceutical sciences.
\nThis shared vision led to the creation, in 2024, of the UB \u2013 Dr. Antoni Esteve i Subirana Chair, a scientific collaboration space that develops research and knowledge\u2011transfer activities for researchers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Objective of the Chair<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n

The UB \u2013 Dr. Antoni Esteve i Subirana Chair for Research in Pharmacology promotes research and acts as a hub of attraction for female and male researchers.<\/p>\n

For this reason, the purpose of the Chair is to become a meeting point where open and innovative scientific debate is encouraged through the organisation of various scientific events such as conferences, congresses, round tables, workshops\u2026<\/p>\n

Another of its defined goals is to provide opportunities for attracting young talent through support for research projects and the recognition of high\u2011quality research.<\/p>\n

Finally, the Chair promotes publications aimed at experts in pharmacology.<\/p>\n
